Our accessibility target
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This statement describes a continuing improvement target and is not a certification that every part of the website is fully conformant.
Features currently provided
- A skip link, semantic headings, descriptive page titles, and labeled navigation.
- Keyboard-operable menus, filters, galleries, dialogs, and primary actions.
- Text alternatives for informative images and reduced-motion behavior for visitors who request it.
- Responsive layouts, visible focus treatment, direct telephone and email alternatives, and no essential information available only through animation.
Known limitations
Some third-party content, including Google Forms, maps, social platforms, and externally hosted media, may not provide the same level of accessibility as the Donsol Tourism pages. Captions, transcripts, and audio descriptions for all historical media are still being reviewed. Contact us for an accessible alternative when any content or service creates a barrier.
Tourism accessibility assistance
Access conditions for boats, river activities, accommodations, transport, and tourism sites vary. Visitors with mobility, sensory, communication, health, dietary, or support needs should contact the Tourism Office before traveling so current arrangements can be discussed without making assumptions about availability.
