Who is responsible for your information
The Municipal Government of Donsol is the personal information controller for information submitted to the Donsol Tourism Office through this website and its official feedback channels.
Information we may receive
- Contact details and the message you voluntarily provide through the embedded feedback form.
- Information contained in an email, text message, call, or Messenger conversation that you choose to start.
- Basic technical information processed by service providers when images, maps, social links, or Google Forms are loaded.
This release does not operate an email newsletter and does not intentionally set first-party advertising or analytics cookies.
Why information is used
Information may be used to answer tourism inquiries, correct website content, respond to feedback, improve public tourism services, document official action, protect visitors, and comply with lawful government requirements.
Service providers and external platforms
The website loads third-party photographs and videos through Cloudinary and may connect visitors to Google Forms, Google Maps, Facebook, Messenger, email, telephone, and SMS services. When externally hosted media loads, the media provider may receive technical information such as the visitor's IP address, browser details, requested file, referring page, and request time under its own privacy policy. Do not submit passwords, payment details, government identification numbers, medical records, or other information that is unnecessary for your tourism concern.
Sharing, security, and retention
Access is limited to authorized personnel and service providers who need the information for an official purpose. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or a lawful government request. Records are retained only as necessary for the stated purpose and in accordance with applicable government records-retention rules. Reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your data privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about processing, access or correction, object to certain processing, request erasure or blocking where appropriate, withdraw consent where consent is the basis, or raise a privacy concern.
